As a Learner Support Educator, I aspire to inspire and encourage children to be the best version of themselves, that they can possibly be. I hold B.Ed Foundation Phase (Cum Laude) and B.Hons Learner Support degrees (Cum Laude) from North West University, Potchefstroom Campus.
During my 6 years of teaching, I’ve grown to believe that each and every person has the ability to reach their full potential, when they are dedicated to do so. I had also noticed that each year more children struggle to cope with the full academic program at school, and parents don’t know how to support them.
When I first heard about Biolink, I truly felt that this was the solution to so many challenges that parents and children experience in this day and age. The support, understanding and positivity of Biolink and its agents made me want to become part of the solution in supporting children and adults with these challenges.
In other words, although life changes are inevitable, we can also initiate personal change so we can rise to the challenge and inspire others to do the same.
You must be the change you want to see in the world. – Ghandi
At Biolink Attention Training, we offer support, hope, answers, and solutions for children and adults with ADHD and other learning disorders or academic challenges. We also provide resources and training toward the continuous professional development of teachers, as required by die South African Council of Educators.
Study after study confirms children today are struggling more than ever before with academic, social, and behavioural issues that impact their success in school.
We want to take hands with parents and teachers to ensure our children get the best support and assistance when having academic or learning challenges. We strongly believe that the role parents play in the school system should be clearly defined, and teachers should be the inspirational leaders of a diverse world.
The only way we can do that, is by empowering parents and teachers. We want to generate new knowledge through a broad array of workshops, research materials, and supportive information, and use the content for classroom strategies.
